Large ceramic table lamp by Einar Johansen for Søholm, Denmark
Tall table lamp made of stoneware with ceramic glazing in various tones of grey, turquis, blue and brown. Designed by Einar Johansen in 1960s for Søholm, Denmark. Signed by designer and maker. Very fine condition.
Shade with small signs of wear, made by Le Klint.

Einar Johansen was educated at The Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen. He worked in New York and after returning to Denmark he had his own ceramic workshop 1935-1958. In the period 1958-68 he designed some of the most well known series from Søholm.
