Glazed Stoneware Table Lamp by Désirée Stentøj, Denmark

A table lamp designed and produced by Désirée Stentøj, Denmark 1960s-70s.
Glaze features bordeaux, grey and black colors, and a graphic relief. It comes from the series "Thule". Thule is a place in north eastern part of Greenland and the glaze is inspired by "The reddish-brown slopes, icy green waters, saga and Eskimo signs."
Hand-decorated stoneware, signed.

Item comes with a new lamp shade. Height includes socket.
