Danish Midcentury High Back Lounge or Club Chair, 1940s

An early modernist form Danish wingback lounge chair with cone-shaped legs in the front. Over-stuffed form, enveloping the sitter with original red wool upholstery with a fine pattern typical of the period. 

Contemporary to works from the 1940s by Danish designers such as Flemming and Mogens Lassen, Erik Wørts, Arne Jacobsen and Peder Moos.

The overall condition is good and it has been professionally cleaned. The original fabric shows wear. If you would like re-upholstering we are happy to assist.
