Solid oak frame, backrest and seat upholstered in original leather.

Erik Wørts was one of the most productive Danish furniture architects in the golden age of Danish furniture design, and by virtue of a long-standing collaboration with IKEA, he may also be one of the furniture designers whose furniture is in most homes all over the world. He had a solid professional background as the son of a carpenter. He was educated from the School of Arts and Crafts. In the 1960s, he was firmly affiliated with FDB's drawing office.
